Firstly we discuss what is a webmaster? how to use this? What is webmaster

A webmaster also called a web architect. A webmaster is someone, who creates and manages the content and organization of a website, manages the computer server and technical programming aspects of a website or does both. We usually use webmaster for indexing the Inbound links. At a small corporation, the webmaster may be in charge of creating the site and putting it on a separate company's server or setting up one within the company. The site design and creation may be done initially by an outside design firm that turns the finished site over to the company's in-house webmaster to maintain and perhaps add content within the established design.

How to use Web-Master

Google webmaster tool now known as a search console, is an essential resource for any business that wants to optimize for search engines. Webmaster provides insight into what Google sees and offers a variety of data including which pages have been indexed, inbound links you have earned, and which keywords are driving traffic. Before using webmaster you will need to verify with Google that you own the domain to the website. Google provides several different ways to do this, and once the verification process is complete, you should start to see data in your account within 24-48 hours.
Steps:-

1) Website messages - This is the area where Google communicates with the webmaster. Not all messages are bad, but they often focus on issues that need attention.
2) Settings - Webmaster Tool Preferences lets you schedule alerts to be delivered to your inbox, and Site Settings allows you to communicate with Google about your marketing intentions.
3) Change of address - This is where you would notify Google that your website is migrating to a new domain.

4) Users & site owners - As the administrator of the site, you have the option to add users to the account and specify their authority within it. Users with "restricted" access can view data, but they are forbidden from many actions, including submitting site maps and URLs.This can be done by only permitted users.
